Four highly dramatic works ideally suited to use as title themes and underscores. Colin Towns' expertise as a composer and orchestrator of contemporary, dramatic works is demonstrated here in his outstanding scoring for brass and electronics.

A1 - The Quest
Colourful, adventure theme by 27 piece brass choir and electronics. After fanfare introduction, gradual build to 1'45 and strident, heroic theme. Theme develops with many dramatic moods. Cutting points throughout.

A2 - Trailblazer
Fast-moving theme from synthesizer and horns over percussive background. Dynamic chase sequences giving feeling of speed and manoeuvrability. At 2'47 slower, tense passage with gradual build; returning to original mood to end.

B1 - Danger Trail
Fast-moving dynamic theme by 27 piece brass choir and electronics.
Big introduction leading to a succession of dramatic themes reflecting the terrors, hazards and dangers of a perilous journey! Cutting points throughout.

B2 - Force of Evil
Introduction by horns. At 15" eerie, mysterious effects passage building to 59" to stabbing chords from horns and development of opening effects passage. At 2'06 melodic theme over strong percussive rhythm creating an uneasy, pulsating atmosphere joined at 3'03 by horns. Second theme introduced at 3'14 creating a menacing, satantic mood until return to earlier melodic theme to end.
